It has been 156 days since I was diagnosed with diabetes. Since that time, I lost about 43 pounds, my blood glucose levels are back in the normal range, and overhauled my wardrobe and threw away my old clothes that are too big. Now I’m targeting to have my hypertension and high cholesterol medication dosages lowered if not removed. I’m not completely out of diabetes, but I think I’m getting better at managing it.
Friends message me asking how I was able to do it. They were curious to find out if it was a new fad diet or some magical wonder drug I took that made it go away.
In this blog, I plan to write about my journey after being diagnosed with this disease — things that I’m doing, food that I’m eating, what my test results are, and other stuff related to it.
Guys, the stuff written here is my journey. It’s not meant to replace what your doctor prescribed. As with anything, there may be stuff here that worked for me but may not work for you. Please consult your trusted health professional before doing anything. Don’t be stupid.
