Yesterday morning will go down in history (well, at least my personal history) as one of the heaviest traffic days I’ve ever experienced. I left at eight in the morning to drive Charo to work for her nine o’ clock meeting. I was thinking that one hour to Globe is more than enough time. The trip would take about 45 minutes tops. Well, I was wrong. We got there at 9:45 a.m. – one hour more than I expected on a stretch less than 20 kilometers. That’s not right.
I was trying to figure what could’ve caused it and came into the hypothesis that this was caused by the potent mix of these factors: rain, 13th month pay, sweldo day and a three-day holiday. Put all these together and, as Cinderella’s fairy godmother would put it, bipiti bopiti boo!
