Rain: Day Two
It’s raining hard for the second day today. Yesterday’s test session was cut short because the GPRS connections were down. I hope it won’t happen again today so we could get the testing over and done with.
A lot of people got stranded yesterday because of the flash floods. It’s good that I did a rain check on my dinner with Mira or I would’ve been stuck in Wan Chai for hours. Come to think of it, that didn’t seem too bad.
So it’s 2:42 in the afternoon and the rain is pouring like buckets, signaling the end of summer. I’m tempted to go out and bike but the hassle of cleaning up is not worth it at the moment.
I’ll be going to Batangas City this weekend to discuss the upcoming EBD Barangay Tour. Apparently, I’m their race director again. I have mixed feelings about this. Yes, I’m excited about handling the race but I feel I’m going to be disappointed with how these people think. I guess I’ll have to blog about this next week.
Back to the issue of rain, I just had to open Limewire this morning and download the Eurythmics’ “Here Comes The Rain Again”. I don’t know why. The song just popped out of nowhere.
I have nothing else to write at this point, so let me end this with some lines from the song.
Here comes the rain again
