Hotel Veniz Rocks!
If you’re looking for a place to stay in the City of Pines, look no further. Situated in the heart of the country’s summer capital is Hotel Veniz – a surprisingly excellent hotel with comfy rooms, ample parking spaces and a location to die for. Their rates are very competitive and comes with a free breakfast. A great value for lowlanders seeking the crisp mountain air.
We stayed here for two nights last weekend and it was one of the highlights of the trip. Their location was so amazing that if you go out of the lobby to the street, you’re instantly in the middle of everything – Burnham Park, Session Road, Maharlika Center, The Baguio Market and the Wagwagan. We didn’t even have to take Connie out of her hotel parking slot.
And if you’re not yet sold, get this – Charo left her Treo’s charger in the room and realized it was missing when we’re in Tarlac already. I called the Hotel to check if it was there. When they found out that it was there, I asked if they could arrange to have it shipped to our house and I’ll just pay for whatever the charges may be. To my surprise, when I called this morning to check on the status, I found out that they have already sent the charger to the house. And not only that, they said it’s on the house! Now that’s what I call customer service!
On our next visit to Baguio, we’re definitely going to stay at Hotel Veniz!
