Ateneo won the game against arch-rival De La Salle yesterday over a jampacked crowd at the Araneta Coliseum. It was intense, and as predicted, there were fights — amongst the players and amongst the fans.

I don’t know about the others, but the win doesn’t seem that sweet. There used to be honor and respect from both teams after the game. This time the singing of the alma mater song was replaced by a rumble of sorts.

There may be a ray of hope. Caught on camera, the Ateneo team was praying the rosary in the bench.
