Finally, the much awaited merit increase has been approved. We’re just waiting for word on how much it is and when can we get it.
The first time I heard the news, images of the latest Shimano XTR groupset flash to my mind. Ooooh! Love that stealth gray paint job. I really want to try out the new integrated shifting system in the deep forests (?) of Batangas.
But I have to stop and remind myself that I have to save my money for the future. Chai would be needing her 65,000-kilometer preventive maintenance check-up soon, and I still owe my sister P14,000.
Darn. Don’t you just hate it when your conscience kicks in?
Just got a pre-approved Bankard VISA from RCBC through the mail. Now I’m thinking whether or not I should use it. A credit card would be good for emergencies when you don’t have cash, but on the other hand I risk getting myself buried in debt all over again. And after my saga with the Dark institution known as Citibank, I feel I don’t want to go through those abusive and rude bill collectors for the second time. Yes, it’s that traumatic.
