Rumor has it that December is really critical in terms of the survival of this company. After we’ve bloated our manpower to a whopping 160+ employees, we’re now streamlining. We’re left with a humongous number of sites with no people to maintain them. The development and production rate of our sites are so fast that we failed to stop and think about it. And now it’s too late.
Top management is questioning why we can’t beat the other sites. A factor may well be our image to the local IT industry. From their perspective, we’re the bullies. They’re comparing us to big bad Microsoft. So instead of the the opposite, the brand is pulling us down.
On another note, the exodus isn’t over yet. A number of people have already left, and I know some who’ve plans of leaving as well. Who’ll be the next ones voted out… er… booted out, rather? Your guess is as good as mine.
