Bakit kung kailan weekend saka naman maaga akong nagising? Naman, naman.
There’s this person wondering why she’s not getting any leads in her email address. In our meeting a few weeks ago, she said that she used to get these but it stopped after they moved to the new site.
Wondering what happened, I conducted my own investigation and visited the sites to see what’s wrong. Lo and behold, I discovered the root of the problem – she didn’t provide any email addresses in her area’s contact details. Not only that, in the subscription form, they specifically requested that it be sent through fax or mail.
Wenk wenk! With that set-up I’d more more surprised if she receives an email!
Finished with the Table of Organization (more or less). Now I’m writing the individual job descriptions, which is subject to review by HR and my bosses. It’s not as easy as it seems. I hope I can get this over and done with today so I can test my other project.
Felt sad after watching Love Actually. Wouldn’t it be great to drink just one ice-cold bottle of beer tonight?
I’m doing this for love.
I’m doing this for love.
I’m doing this for love.
After nine days and six bags of blood transfused (well, that’s what he said), my brother finally has the go signal to go home. Whew! All this for just running in the Ateneo’s meron lagoon area.
The whole thing was quite an ordeal for the whole family, especially the time when we had to look for blood at 1:00 in the morning without any leads. We had to go as far as tapping contacts of contacts to get blood from the Red Cross. And it doesn’t help that the hospital he chose to be admitted really sucks. (Don’t ask.)
It was quite an experience for all of us.
To all who visited, texted and supported us in any way, we thank you!
I woke up at 2am today to drive Anton to the airport and I was surprised how cold it was. The temperature outside seemed actually cooler than our airconditioned room. It reminded me a lot of our Baguio stint two years ago.
I’ve already distributed my gifts to my officemates. Save for a few, I would say that it was a blast. Nice! I’ll try to take a picture of me wearing it and post it here.
Tomorrow I’ll be officially out of the calendar. That is right – the big 32. Others may feel bad but I’m actually quite OK with it. If it’s true that you’re only as old as you feel, then I think I’m perennially stuck in my twenties.
Dean Martin is playing in my head. That’s not a bad thing.
I’m excited with my new find. First I thought I would be using Johnny Air’s service since the charges for direct shipping to the Philippines is way too much for any sane person to agree. (Can you beieve it’s cheaper to have it shipped to the US and then have it shipped here through Johnny than having it shipped here directy?)
Then lo and behold, I found a dealer from one of the online fora I frequently visit and their price isn’t bad at all. It’s about a thousand pesos cheaper than if I order online and have it shipped here. All that minus the hassle. Of course I took it! I reserved it today and will probably pick it up this weekend.
What is it? Secret.
Don’t you just love the information age?
