July 28, 2009I was watching Rambo on Star Movies.
She came in the room.
She doesn’t like Rambo.
She pulled out the plug when I refused to give her the remote.
She expects me to pay for her food delivery because she doesn’t have any money.
That is not fucking right.
Now she asks if I can take her to work on Thursday.

Silver Linings
July 28, 2009What a tiring day it was. I had three meetings today but I’m glad I was able to cross out a number of items in my to-do list.
Projects are starting to pile up. I think there are mire than eight of them on my lap and each one wants to be on top priority, as always is the case. There are a number of them that are quite good. I just hope that we have enough time and resources to make them happen.
As a silver lining to my growing cloud, Benjie of Joven Bike Shop texted me that the Oakley Jawbones that I wanted are now available. There’s the black and yellow Livestrong version and the black and red polarized version. Of course I went for the first one.
I’m also excited for Dennis’ Amazon shipment to arrive as I bought a gift for me from there as well. Two letters: HD.
Anyway, I sure hope you guys are doing well. I’ll try to update this blog more often.

A Bigger Team Would Be Nice
July 23, 2009I haven’t blogged in a long time. Although I’ve been meaning to, I’m just too tired to write my thoughts. That’s why I’m more active my Twitter account than here.
There are a lot of things happening in the office. I think I have about eight projects lined up, with priority levels that start from medium, and it’s starting to take its toll. I really need to beef up the web development team for this, and that doesn’t mean just hiring a lot of designers. For it to be truly more robust, I would need web architects who can double as project officers, graphic designers, usability officers and coders.
I need to talk to the boss about this.
